Signature Events on the Ridge
Ranging from historical celebrations to parades and more, the annual events on the Ridge are the cornerstone for community engagement and tourist attraction. Featuring the Johnny Appleseed Days, the largest harvest festival in the State of California, and the award-winning Chocolate Fest, there’s an event happening soon for all ages to enjoy!
Gold Nugget Days Parade
The Gold Nugget Museum’s mission is to collect, preserve, and exhibit historical artifacts. It provides interactive workshops for young people and conducts interesting presentations about Paradise and Butte County history. The annual Gold Nugget Days parade is a celebration of the mining history and township of Paradise.
Paradise Chocolate Fest
Paradise Chocolate Fest provides enduring support of non-profit organizations that provide educational, enrichment, recreational and leadership opportunities to youth on the Pardise Ridge. The Fest features Chocolate Candy Land where you can dip into decadence at the large chocolate fountain or visit chocolate booths and professional Chocolatiers with countless chocolate delicacies, desserts, confections, scoops of yummy Ice Cream for sale, and more!
Johnny Appleseed Days
First held in 1888, the fair now known as Johnny Appleseed Days is the oldest harvest in the state! The 2019 two-day fall festival celebrated Paradise’s apple heritage with apple pie and ice cream. As we await Noble Orchards’ next harvest, Paradise residents and members of the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce gathered to prepare Do-it-Yourself apple pie kits-stay tuned for more information!
Party in the Park
Party in the Park Music & Marketplace is a seasonal tradition of local pride and community vitality in the historic heart of Paradise. With its Farmers’ Market, Kids’ Zone, talented bands and performers, arts, crafts, local organizations and eclectic products, Party in the Park is a celebration of all that makes us Paradise.
